The hold room of the terminal is
currently being expanded to a larger, modern facility with
many more amenities than the previous hold room. Construction
is currently on time and scheduled to be completed in January
2008.
A new security system is currently under
construction for the entire airport. Expected completion date
is January 2008. In conjunction with the new system, a new
road is being placed from Mitchell St. entrance to Calstar.
The new road will allow open access to businesses and tenants
in the area without requiring vehicle entrance into the
airfield.
